Ten Flip cameras as well as a Document Camera were purchased and will arrive soon. This technology will be used with new Dell Netbooks to document work through pictures and videos, to upload information to the Internet, and to create dynamic multimedia presentations that will allow us to communicate with parents, students in other schools and members of our community. Eric Bird, our coach from Digital Wish, recently taught sixth graders how to use a Flip camera and make a movie. We thank technology coordinator, Rick Dustin-Eichler, for bringing this opportunity to us. We also thank sixth grade teacher, Amy Simonds, for participating in this grant opportunity and for incorporating SMARTBoard technology into a unit for the district that shall be made available to teachers on the Windsor Central Supervisory Union website in the near future.
